While the original Uptempo was known for its bold, oversized “AIR” lettering, Abloh’s version introduces a series of signature Off-White touches: a translucent mesh upper, exposed foam on the tongue, and the iconic red zip-tie. The most striking alteration is the removal of the classic “AIR” text on the side panel, replaced instead with a smaller, ghosted iteration and quotation marks that question the very concept of branding.
